Nurse Hooker is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate nursing degree at San Jacinto College, in Pasadena, Texas and her BSN, summa cum laude, in nursing from Prairie View A& M University, The University Center/Woodlands in Houston, Texas. She completed her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Texas,Houston, in May of 2000.

She is a certified Adult Critical Care Nurse, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Nurse Hooker is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a Nurse Volunteer for the Conroe Independent School District and the South County Community Clinic.
