John N. Papadopoulos, MD is the newest addition to Northwoods Urology Associates. Dr. Papadopoulos specializes in state of the art and minimally invasive treatment for prostate, bladder and kidney cancer. He strives to provide all of his patients healthcare that is innovative, progressive and compassionate.
Prior to joining Northwoods Urology Associates (NUA), Dr. Papadopoulos completed his fellowship training in urologic oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His educational background includes a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas and Medical Degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He completed an Internship in General Surgery and Urology Residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Dr. Papadopoulos has done both clinical and basic science research in prostate and bladder cancer. He is published in Urology, The Prostate, The American Journal of Pathology and eMedicine. He has received numerous research awards, honors, and scholarships for his work in urology and cancer research.
