About Dr. Russell Libby

Dr. Libby joined Northwoods Urology in July 2020. Although he was born in Houston, TX, he grew up as a Georgia boy. He graduated from Vanderbilt University an Honors College Scholar with a major in Economics. He then studied the Culinary Arts with a focus on Modern Italian Cuisine at The Culinary Institute of Florence in Italy. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his General Surgery internship and Urology residency training at Tulane University School of Medicine. He served as Chief Resident in Urology during his training.

Professional Affiliations include the American Urological Association and Texas Medical Association

Dr. Libby is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
