Dear Family, Friends, Colleagues, and Patients:
As I began a solo urology practice in September 1980, I never envisioned that this day would come.
Early in my career, I confided in my wife that I someday hoped to have a large urology practice. My dreams came true as Northwoods Urology was established and has continued to thrive through the years.
I want to thank my wife and children, who provided love and support in the early years and have continued to do so.
Northwoods Urology of Texas would not be what it is today without incredible partners, not only for their urologic expertise, but the collaboration and camaraderie that we enjoy on a daily basis as Northwoods has continued to grow and become a premier group in the practice of urology for the local area and surrounding communities. We are fortunate to add another well-qualified urologist, Dr. Paul Rizk, this summer.
It is therefore with mixed emotions that I announce that I am withdrawing from practice at Northwoods Urology of Texas and I will no longer be seeing patients there effective August 31, 2023. It has been my honor and privilege to provide for your urologic health needs for all these years, and to earn your trust as we worked together to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Once I leave practice at Northwoods, your records will remain confidential and available at Northwoods Urology for your continuation of care. You will continue to receive comprehensive and compassionate care from the other doctors at this practice.
You may obtain a copy of your medical records by submitting proper authorization to Northwoods' office. And, if you wish to have your records transferred to a different physician outside of Northwoods, you are entitled to do so, again with proper authorization. What the immediate future holds for me is a bit unknown. Maybe more and hopefully better golf, new travel adventures and a better chance to spend time with my children and grandchildren. I know certainly that I will miss the interaction that I have with each and every patient at Northwoods Urology of Texas.
